NAIM CDS3 CD player, boxed with Narcom remote (still bagged and never used by me) and the lavender lead plus manual, and transit bolts. Please note this does not have a Burndy power supply lead with it (as far as I know that comes with the required power supply/needs to be purchased separately). Obviously, you need CD555PS/XPS2 to work this kit (I am not sure an XPS1 works with it - please check with a dealer before you bid).

Serial number 223XXX (late-ish 2005 per NAIM website - please satisfy yourself on this point) and player still has protective film on the perspex lid area. There are no markings on the casework to my eyes** -- just markings on the covering film (as it's soft and the perspex is unmarked).

** Addendum post listing - on very, very close examination, there is a tiny (it's a speck to my eyes) case mark on far back right edge - I think it's a casting mark, which is almost invisible to the eye under normal light from usual viewing height -- just something you can feel as you run your finger along the to edge. It's black painted/coated (i.e. it's where you would put your hand if you carried it). A potential purchaser has viewed and didn't spot it.

Aside from the above, I can see no marks or scratches on the casework and to affirm a potential purchaser has viewed and was satisfied with the advertised condition.

I have always stored on a FRAIM rack.

Techincal spec is available on NAIM Audio website - and I understand retail cost of this unit now = > £5.5k.

I purchased via e-bay c.16m's ago and reason for selling is change in the system. When purchased the unit had had only very modest use (clear to me at the time of purchase - a reason why sold, as was owned by another caring hi-fi person who had another system & reason bought by me) and it has had usual modest domestic use since (located away from bright sunlight and heat sources). Household is pet free/non-smoking.

Player is in full working order and very happy to allow reasonable demonstration to purchaser. Obviously benefits from NAIM's service back-up and well-known reliability.
