A fine example of a provincial FDC for this 2 value issue, commemorating the 1st Anniversary of the Fall of Bataan & Corregidor. Probably over 95%+ of the many FDCs emanated from Manila, however a total of at least 42 provincial capitals & chartered cities in the Philippines were also provided with their own individually inscribed special hand-stamp cachet with which to service any FDCs outside the capital, and this is one of them. Such provincial FDCs are now scarce, or even rare, & are infrequently offered.
