Hi there! Thanks for visiting our store.
Please take a minute to read EVERYTHING at least once before shopping.
We have been having so much fun and talking to so many great people over the past year through our auctions that we have decided to go a little further with this and open a store. Our goal is to provide quality items at reasonable prices that will make you guys enjoy your hobby a little more. Our personal collection of engines and rolling stock includes over 1200 pieces in each scale and like you, we are still collecting because we love this hobby. Along with the auctions that I will continue to list, the store items will mostly be brand new items, or in near new condition. I have more than 25 years of enjoyment in HO scale and over 10 years in N scale and have a good knowledge of train cars in both scales, at all quality levels. My descriptions will be accurate and should be fairly basic for store items since most will be new or at least in new condition. As with my auctions, if I do put something in the store that is not new, it will be described accurately so you can be confident in making your purchasing decision.
Remember to check out my auctions and store for more great items!
Three quick notes:
I prefer PayPal
I do combine auction wins for shipping discount
International shipping for Paypal customers only
This fine N scale item:
Description: 50' standard boxcar, single door
Manufacturer: Micro-Trains Line
Item #: 077 00 100
Road name: Chattahoochee Industrial Railroad
Road #: CIRR 2030
Prototype build date: 1/1967
Coupler type: knuckle, magnetic
Condition: Brand new car, originally sold in 2005. Case may have slight shelf wear.
MTL note: At different times through the years MTL has installed standard wheel sets or low profile wheel sets on their cars. And there were periods of time when they also included the other wheel sets in the box. This seemed to change almost yearly and I did not keep up with what was installed/included each year. I do not know what was originally included with any of my MTL inventory. Unless you can see the extra wheel sets in the case, in the pictures, do NOT assume they are included. Some of my MTL cars have them and some don't and I have no idea which is correct.
Coming soon to auction: Lots of passenger trains, intermodal, and steam era wood freight cars, more rare and hard to find cars, and a few oak display shelves

Payment:
Payment is appreciated within 24 hrs, and expected within 7 days. We accept PayPal AND ALL STANDARD FORMS OF PAYMENT. Please contact me immediately if you plan on purchasing multiple items so that you can take advantage of our shipping discounts. I am more than happy to hold items for up to 2-3 weeks if necessary while you look at our store items & bid on our auctions. Just let me know when you are ready for an invoice and one will be provided. If you plan on buying more than one item and/or bid/win more than one auction, please do not pay right away. All purchases/auction wins must be paid for on the same invoice to take advantage of combined shipping. If you win 30 auctions and pay 30 invoices, shipping costs will be incredibly high. If additional auctions are won, the highest base shipping cost will be applied and each additional auction will be discounted. Please make sure you let me know your intentions.
USA Shipping:
Shipping charges for N scale items are $6.20 for the 1st item and $1.00 for each additional item. Engines and larger and/or heavier items will cost more. Please remember that eBay's checkout system does not account for combined shipping. You need an invoice from us to see the correct shipping cost. Our items will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail and should arrive to you in 2-3 days. I will ship UPS or FedEx if you prefer, but the cost will be higher. I am not responsible for transit times. The carrier provides them and they do not include weekends or holidays. I highly recommend you getting insurance. The cost is an additional $1.70 for most items and may be more for higher priced/volume purchases. The items I ship will be very well packaged and will NOT be damaged under normal shipping conditions. I am not be responsible for any damage done during shipping. Please get the insurance: USPS, UPS, and FedEx are NOT perfect and things do happen.
International Shipping:
We will allow international bidders who pay by Paypal only and are verified (address). That is the only acceptable form of payment for International shipments. Shipping costs will be actual costs via USPS First Class Mail International, plus $1.50 handling & processing fee per item. We will use another shipping method if specifically requested.
Feedback:
Once you have received your items and had a chance to check them out, please leave positive feedback for me and then I will do the same for you. If you feel in any way that the item is not what you expected, please contact me before leaving negative feedback so we can fix the problem and both be happy about the transaction. Happy customers are repeat customers, and that’s what I like.
Return Policy:
I do expect you to ask questions if necessary and know what you are bidding on and/or buying. Once I sell it, I don’t want it back. If you feel I have misrepresented an item, let me know and we will work something out. If something is being returned, it must be returned within 7 days and must be in the same condition as it was when sold. Shipping costs are not refundable.
Please remember:
I am not perfect. While I do have a very good knowledge of this hobby, and my descriptions will be accurate, I do occasionally make typographical errors. Almost all of my listings are copied and modified for the next item I'm working on and once in a while I may forget to make changes and/or forget to save them. Normally mistakes will be major and stand out, like having a picture of a tanker in a listing for a boxcar. If you see anything in my listings that you feel might be a mistake, please do not hesitate to contact me so that I can get it fixed as quickly as possible.
A note about "new":
Please also remember that while my items are stated as new, most were on a shelf somewhere at some point in their lives and that means that somebody could have picked them up to look at them, removed them from the case for close-up inspection or to see how well they roll. That is the case with any "new" item whether it is my listing, another sellers listing, or your favorate hobby shop. If I list a "new" item, it has not been used outside of possibly seeing if it rolls correctly. Also, in a lot of my listings the car pictured may not be the exact one you receive. The one you get will be identicle in part number, paint scheme, and quality. The only difference would be ocasionally the road number pictured will be different than what is actually being sold. I use stock pictures of my items when possible to cut down on camera time. In ALL cases, the road number in the listing description is correct and is what you will receive if you win/buy the item.
Thanks for looking. Happy bidding/buying. Please come back. |
