Up for auction is a new old stock vintage official Musto performance Rugby shirt from the world’s premier ocean race: The Volvo Round The World Ocean Race.

It is a men's size XXL (to fit a person with a chest size of 47"-49" or 119-124cm).

MUSTO is the premium marine clothing manufacturer in the United Kingdom and supplies nautical clothing and equipment to all teams in the Volvo Ocean Race.

The Volvo Ocean Race is a yacht race around the world, held every four years. It is considered the ultimate sailing adventure.

The ABN/AMRO yachts hold the historic distinction of TEAM ONE being the winner and TEAM TWO becoming the fastest mono-hull boat on the planet! On 11 January 2006, the ABN AMRO TWO covered 563 miles in 24 hours for a WORLD RECORD!

This heavy 100% cotton rugby shirt is very well made with MUSTO's classic zig-zag stitching around TEAM ABN/AMRO's emblem sewn on the back and discreet sea blue accents on the inside of the collar. The pictured shirt is mine and I can personally attest to how comfortable and well made this rugby shirt is. Yours will be delivered in a factory sealed package.

Note: I own several of these shirts and wanted to let you know of a way to modify them if you wish. On one of mine, I have easily removed the rubberized patches on the front and the heavy canvas patch on the back. After washing, the shirt looks like a plain Musto Performance Rugby shirt.

A must have for any Sailing Race fan and collector of Sailing memorabilia. Makes great gift too!
