Musical Fidelity X-10 V3 Tube output buffer - Mint!

It was purchased from Sevenoaks Cardiff on 20th May 2007, so there is still a few weeks warranty left.

The item itself is in full working order and is in excellent cosmetic condition. There are no scratches or marks on it.

Included is the Musical Fidelity X-10 V3 Tube output buffer, original power supply, instructions, box and includes the receipt from sevenoaks.

The tube buffer is a great little unit. Connected to an X-Dac v3 and it adds a lovely smoothness to the midrange and sweetens up the treble a treat.  There were only 4850 units produced due to the shortage of the Military Spec tubes inside (6112 tubes) and as such the X-10 v3 is quite tricky to come by now.

The X-10V3 has a high input impedance and a low output impedance. From a technical standpoint, it's almost not there: extremely low noise, very low distortion, wide bandwidth and outstanding overload margins. The X-10V3's circuit configuration is exactly the same as the Tri-Vista SACD's output stage, but updated with the incredible mu-vista tube. Put the X-10V3 with any good quality CD player (A3.2CD or X-RayV3 for examples) and be prepared to be astonished by the results. It turns any good CD player into something virtually indistinguishable from the Tri-Vista SACD.
