Murex Troschelli Similar to M. pecten, but usually frow to a much larger size; the sutures are deeply channelled, the spines are fewer in number, slightly larger, and not as curved. The aperature is pure white and the outer lip margin only weakly dentate; the colour is pale yellowish white with lovely brown stained primary cords; measures 4.5" (114mm). This specimen is found in limited numbers and was located at Davao, Philippines.
