Mt. Baker Hiking Stick Medallion
Whether you reached the summit or simply wish to preserve the memory of your journeys into the gorgeous Northern Cascade Mountain Range, a Mount Baker hiking stick medallion is the ideal way to commemorate your travels for all to see. In eye-catching metal, this hiking stick medallion will be an enduring keepsake of your trek along the trails of Mount Baker.
The highest point in the Northern Cascades with an elevation of 10,778 feet, Mount Baker is Washington State's third highest peak. Supporting twelve glaciers that cover more than twenty square miles, its steep slopes contain more snow and ice than most of the other Cascade volcanoes combined. Its gleaming white cone smiles down on the lowlands of Northern Puget Sound, where the locals regard its presence as an old friend.
Year after year, Mount Baker also draws a steady stream of climbers interested in a challenging ascent rewarded by long views of watery lowlands. But many who initiate the climb sometimes descend in frustration from difficult conditions and unpredictable weather.
The medallion depicts an image of Mount Baker piercing the Washington sky. Each medallion has a curved shape and comes with two brass nails to ensure it can be quickly and easily secured to any hiking staff. Minted in a brass alloy, this commemorative medallion is given an antique finish.

I protect my coins in either a PVC or vinyl coin pouch, flip, zip bag and/or bubble wrap to protect them during storage and shipment. I am starting to make an effort to get a little more eco friendly, so I hope to only use recycled packaging in the future, to include newspaper or tissue paper. But rest assured, your coin(s) won't get scratched in transit from my mailbox. Coins that aren't packaged safely are a major pet peeve of mine and I won't skimp when it comes to that.
