1910 dated Mounted Police horseshoe case with unusual single point suspension strap with brass crown pattern buckle to fit the 1902 UP saddle.

Original Manfacturer's stamp reads "M Harvey & Co Ltd Wallsall G & M 1910".   Further LMP stamps on rear face (possibly Liverpool Mounted Police) and girth sway strap.

The pouch is fitted with an internal nail pocket and exterior loop for a baton or a sword. The narrow leather tab to the brass stud would accommodate the ring on the scabbard of the 1890 or 1908 pattern sword for ceremonial purposes.

The leather is supple with a nice patina but minor scuffs and marks; all stitching is complete, brass fittings.

An interesting and rarely seen item of Police memorabilia.  The starting price reflects the rarity of this item.
