UHF Linear RF Amplifier Panel

3-Stages, 15Watts, 470-860MHz (432MHz?)

 

This item is a 3-stage linear RF amplifier panel.  We see this panel as an excellent source of parts.  While you may well be temped to get the whole thing going (an there's no reason why not!), we have not tried this yet and hence offer the panel for parts only.  The active devices are as follows:

  • CA5800C Broadband gain-block, 10-1000MHz 1 Watt (datasheet)
  • TP3006 (two off) 5 Watt 960MHz transistor (datasheet)
  • TPV7025 - 25 Watt, 860MHz, push-pull linear transistor (datasheet) 

The CA5800C is a broadband module, covering 10-1000MHz, with 1W of output power!  Very handy indeed, worth putting it in a little box.  The whole panel is a linear amplifier, designed to deliver 15W of RF with 35dB gain.  The supply is 28V.

Good condition, ex-working equipment, but untested.  Minor cosmetic differences may exist, the images below are for reference.
