Morris Minor 1000 Classic Mini 1960's Moto-Lita Leather Rim & Alloy 14.5" Steering Wheel & Boss

This early Moto-Lita period wheel features the now RARE, obsolete smaller centre bore & stud pattern with the 'Moto-Lita' stamp just below the bezel at the top of drilled alloy spoke...

Supplied complete with matching period Morris steering badge & alloy boss with corresponding Moto-Lita stud pattern. It was removed from an old Morris Minor & therefore should fit/suit the following BMC Cars:

Mini 850, 998, 1275, Mini Cooper, Clubman 1275GT, Mini Moke, Riley Elf, Wolseley Hornet, Triumph Stag, Morris Minor, Morris 1000, 1100, 1300, Riley Kestrel & Many more etc etc......

General patination is consistent with the age, use & subsequent storage.....Leather rim is quite dry & has a 1cm nick approx at the front 10-10.30 O'clock position. There is some typical shrinkage at the (7-7.30 O'clock ish) join area. The stitching is I would say remains 99% intact. The spokes remain clean, straight & generally free from 'pitting'....

The Morris 'M' centre badge(non-horn) remains in excellent order......a nice, clear, deep red and gold......

The wheel & boss comes complete with new replacement screws nuts & washer set as per pic

In summary this wheel set-up has been cleaned up to the best of my ability-The leather rim IS in need of some TLC but is still perfectly useable. The alloy spokes & bezel have been hand polished to give a presentable shine.
