How To :
Computer off, 
Plug the tester in a PCi slot, or in a LPT port (in this case, power on the tester with the usb cable sold with)
Start the computer
Check the voltages on the tester
Check the POST code display, and compare the code with the list in the manual (or, better, go to www.bioscentral.com, the world largest library in POSt codes !) 
 
You can run the test with or withou CPU, RAM, extension cards.....
 
What about The Up and Down switches ? :
When the test is done, you can go up and down the test steps with the two buttons, and then check the result of each step, and not only the final test (when it brakes). First 2 numbers show the step of the running test, and Last 2 the error code
The card can also start an auto-test while keeping the 2 buttons down at the same time.
