The Airflow crib mattress is a quality foam cot mattress
We have designed Air-Holes at each end of Your Moses basket Mattress so you can rotate and turn your mattress and therefore use both ends and increase the life of your mattress.
The foam used is a best quality CMHR25, this is a Class a combustion modified foam
This foam crib mattress does not contain any added antimony or phosphorous as advised by SIDSThe foam is wrapped in SafeTex Plus cover that is water resistant so it will help protect the foam from spillages, this cover is at the same time breathable.
Fine filament acts as a super filter allowing air to pass through
Zipped cover - removable for machine-washing at 60°c making the mattress anti-allergenic and giving maximum protection against dust mites
Our Mattresses conform to the British Standards laid down in BS 7177, BS 1877.
NB We no longer use " coroquilt" or corvin for crib mattress covers, these old type fabrics cannot be washed at 60°c consequently it does not afford the same healthy sleeping environment as Safetex N.B YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO WASH THE COVER AT 60°C FOR THE MATTRESS TO BE DEEMED TO BE ANTI-ALLERGENIC
All our crib mattresses are PVC FREE because PVC contains Phalates! Although Phthalates show almost no toxicity in adult humans, very young infants "may be" at greater risk of harm. so no PVC in our mattres covers!
