condition is very very good. corners have light wear as do spine ends. name of louis kroner and date of 1914 written on first free endpaper.
all pages have age related toning. and there are a few pages which are folded back because they weren't properly trimmed during the book's manufacture. please see photos. some scuff marks to the gilding of top of page ends. book feels a little wobbly when you open it... but the pages and the binding look to be relatively sound and intact.
a few illustrations throughout. gilt top edges of pages.

the theory. probably some of the practice too.
