Monsoon Silk Dress, size 12, bought a few years ago and worn (I think) 3 times - I was a size 12 to 14 when I bought it, so if you are a size 14 it may be worth checking out the measurements shown below.  Sadly, it now doesn't fit me.

It has a lovely pattern of tropical flowers in orange, olive and taupe on a bronzey (non-metallic) background - see fabric close-up photo.  It is sleeveless with a "v" neckline of plain bronze silk and underbust seaming so it fits nicely on the bust, it is cut on the bias so skims over the hips - looks good on curvy girls! It is about calf length (depending on your height!)  The hem is trimmed with a plain bronze silk edge which gives it a bit of a "flip".  It is fully lined with olive polyester crepe.

Measurements taken when dress is laid out flat, are:

135cm long (nape to hem)

92cm armpit to armpit, so I think about a 36" bust

V neck is 22cm deep (not too plunge)

Narrowest point of torso of dress: 85cm, about a 33" waist

Widest point of torso of dress: 95cm, about a 37" hip

Sleeve hole circumferance 20" approx

CARE LABEL/WASHING INSTRUCTIONS, are as follows:

"100% silk, lining 100% polyester.  Handwash seperately.  Use a mild detergent.  Do not use fabric softener.  Do not soak.  Do not wring.  Dry flat away from direct heat and sunlight.  Reshape whilst damp.  Cool iron on reverse side.  Keep away from fire.  Dry clean "P"
