I am selling a stunning pair of Monitor Audio Silver Reference RS8's finished in real wood - Rosenut. I bought these speakers along with the center channel RSLCR (Please see separate eBay auction for this item.) earlier this year but have now received orders that our colour scheme is to change and very unfortunately the Rosenut will not feature. I have since purchased the exact same speakers in black! (Personally I far prefer the Rosenut over the black!)
Honestly the pictures don't do the speakers justice, flash photography seems to drain the colour and life out of wood for some reason. I would strongly recommend serious bidders come take a look or visit a hifi shop as these are truly stunning!

RS8's are equally at home as the front channels of a home cinema AV set up as they are at handling music of every genre. If you need a demo and an opinion from the experts pop along to your nearest quality hifi store and do your ears a favour! Audio-T in particular rave about these speakers.
The speakers are offered in their original boxes and includes all accessories, bass port plugs, jumpers, bases and spikes. All original packaging and booklet.
They are in absolutely the same condition as I bought them new - immaculate and unmarked! I'm more than happy to demo these in my home but prior to auction end please. I paid £800 less than 3 months ago.
All of my items come from a pet, child and smoke free home.
Due to their weight I would prefer collection in person from my home near Southampton but will happily assist your courier with collection or arrange delivery from this end but please email first for costs.

Advanced software simulation has allowed us to optimise our C-CAM®
tweeter design, bringing higher sensitivity and a wider band width to reveal the
finest high frequency detail. The C-CAM® tweeter can extend up to
45kHz (Dependant on the range) and having also developed a sophisticated new
chamber for the driver, it provides a more graduated damping for a smoother more
accurate response.
C-CAM® Drivers
(Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium)
C-CAM® is an innovative alloy material originally developed by the
aerospace industry for its use as blades in jet engines where low mass and
extreme rigidity are required. Monitor Audio C-CAM® drivers are
formed from an alloy of aluminum and magnesium, which is made into the cone
shape by a two stage high pressure forming technique. After forming the shape, a
layer of pure ceramic (alumina) is depleted onto the surfaces, to give a
completely rigid exterior. The resulting properties of the C-CAM®
material are lightning-fast response for incredible clarity and extreme rigidity
for low distortion.
