Feedback Policy

I use ebay’s recommended Selling Manager Pro System.  This is because I have a lot of listings and a lot of sales to track.  Selling Manager Pro leaves Positive feedback immediately after you have left me feedback.  Its automatic and will always be positive.  Ebay is making changes to the feedback system that will benefit YOU the buyer even further.  Always look at a seller’s history to see how trustworthy they are.  Negative feedback left by buyers means a complete failure of communication – CONTACT ME TO RESOLVE ANY ISSUES BEFORE THE FEEDBACK STAGE PLEASE!   I run my ebay shop as a business so I am keen to help to make sure my customers return.

Photography

Please take the time to read all of my listings.  It is incredibly difficult to get good quality photographs of item with accurate colours so inevitably photos are taken close up.  This sometimes makes small items look so much larger and I always give the sizes where this is the case.  I have had negative feedback “Item smaller than I expected” When the listing clearly stated the size.  This is not acceptable, especially as I offer a returns policy.  If there is any doubt about the size please ask!

Returns & Refund Policy

I comply fully with both ebay and the distance selling laws.  If you are not happy with your item you can return it for a refund within 7 days from receipt.  Please note that postage from me to you will not be refunded and you will have to post it back at your own expense by a suitably tracked method of posting.

Breakages – Please report this to me straight away.  If you can email me a photograph to help me make a claim against the carrier or Royal Mail I would appreciate it.  If you email the photograph I don’t need you to return the item as long as it is clear and shows the damage.

Please remember – I am Paula, a real living person who has bills to pay and NOT some big company with limitless resources.  I will always respond to emails and always try to help if there are problems.

Postage and PACKAGING Charges

I always try to keep my postage charges as low as possible but please remember I have to buy boxes, tape, bubble wrap, postal tubes, Padded Envelopes, Void Fill etc.  Yes I do buy wholesale but sometimes the packaging costs as much as the shipping!

Items Lost In The Post

To send items ‘signed for’ or by courier costs YOU more.  I have found this to be unpopular and most customers are after a nice item at a good price.  Sometimes things go missing.  I always get proof of posting which will cover the cost up to £34.  However Royal Mail won’t accept that an item is missing until a bizarre 30 DAYS after sending!!!  I on the other hand am a nice seller and prepared to organise a replacement before this – please contact me if your item doesn’t arrive in a reasonable timescale.  When I claim from Royal Mail they will investigate and will contact you to verify that the item did not arrive

General Things...

Please always look at my other items.  Many of my items are of similar style and design and you may find several items you want making a trip a worthwhile postage saving.

Payment

Payment must be made within 7 days of Sale or an unpaid item report will be filed.  However if you want to keep your account open for example to buy other items please email me to let me know. Payment by PayPal, Cheque (which will have to clear before goods are shipped) Postal Orders are also welcome. 

Feedback – Please note that I use eBay Selling Manager Pro.  The Selling Manager Pro system provided by eBay says:   “If the buyer has paid for this item and left positive feedback, this preference will automatically leave feedback comments for your buyers when you mark your sold listings as Paid and the buyer has left you positive feedback. Again, the feedback generated will always be positive.....”

If you are unhappy with your item please contact me to resolve any issues rather than leave negative feedback which doesn’t help anyone.  I am always keen to help!
