Mobo Toys – scarce four-page Advertising Leaflet, c1960.

This is a hard-to-fine 8” x 6¼” four-page leaflet – or perhaps you could even call it a brochure – for Mobo Toys. By its style and content I would guess that it dates from around 1958-1960 or so. The front has a paragraph of text about how proud the company are of their toys, due to their great value for money and quality. And there is a price list for all of the 40 toys shown on the next three pages. Each is shown as an illustration, with a brief (eight-ten word) description underneath the image. There is a wide range of toys shown (probably the complete range?) from pedal cars, push-along toys, ride-on toys, + boats, cars, diving submarine, and many more. The leaflet is in wonderful (as good as new) clean condition with no rips, scribbles, grazes or other damage. There are no code numbers / reference numbers anywhere – just the words Printed in England in tiny print at the bottom edge.
