The Van

Equipment

• 400 litre water tank, capable of being used to clean up to 20 cars. Can be removed from the van whenever you like also.
• Silverline 2.2kva generator. All you will ever need to power the pressure washer, hoovers etc.
• Numatic George hoover (wet and dry) for use on upholstery.
• Earlex Combi Vac (used by most valeters, really powerful)
• Karcher pressure washer. Really powerful and exactly what is required for the job.
• 20m extension lead and 10m extension lead.
• Large ladders to allow you to clean big cars and 4x4s like Range Rovers.
• All the buckets/sponges/mitts/cloths you will need to do the job.
• Lots of other little bits you will need like petrol can etc.
• 100 paper floor mats.
• Spray bottle for TFR.

Basically that’s all the equipment you will need to do a great job of any car. Its all in reasonable condition but obviously needs maintaining well to keep it all working properly.

Most of what I have is part used but will be enough to get you through at least a few weekends. I will however give you price lists from my current supplier so you can order new stuff whenever you need to.

Misc

• Mobile phone for the business obviously with the number matching the number on the side and back of the van. Old Nokia phone but works well and will include charger and hands free for it.
• TomTom satellite navigation version 2. Very useful for finding your way to customers houses.
• 500 leaflets printed and ready to go, with full price lists on them. This will be really useful as it will allow you to advertise immediately.
• T-Shirt and Jumper with business name printed on them.
• The business has a website www.cjsvaleting.co.uk. The domain name expires in 2 years and there is 12 months hosting left too. I will edit the site to your requirements too if you don’t know how to. This is a really impressive site that other similar businesses don’t have, and is a real advantage to this business. I very often get people phoning me up because they have found the business website.
• I have written up a ten page document for the buyer which includes a guide of how to do all the various valeting procedures, how to win business and how to advertise. This will be really useful for the new owner.
