Mirage 28 Sailing Yacht

This is a MIRAGE 28 Mk 2 Fin Keel version, a well known and respected cruising yacht built by Thames Marine. This is an interesting project boat that needs an extensive refit. She is on an old heavy duty 4 wheeled trailer and is stored in a dry barn. The deck fittings, stanchions, pulpit/pushpit and prop shaft are all in place.There is a new set of windows, forehatch and a rebuilt Bukh DV 10 desiel engine ready to fit.

Down below she has a GRP interior moulding and teak bulkheads, incorporating a double berth in the bow, a heads area to port and a wardrobe hanging area to starboard, two berths in the cabin along with galley area and further quarter berth to starboard. The galley requires a new cooker (although I have the old one if required) and a new stainless sink to sit into the worktop appature. A mast/boom sails and rigging will need to be sourced. This will be an interesting worthwhile project and when complete will make a safe and enjoyable sailing yacht.
