The Mio C220 is simple, straightforward, and easy to use. It sets the standard of what the basic navigation system should offer: latest Tele Atlas maps, speed camera alerts, points of interest, pedestrian mode, touch screen, voice guidance, TMC compatibility (TMC Receiver sold separately) and many other features.

MioMap v3 offers a smoother, clearer and more detailed display than ever before. However fast you scroll, pan, turn or zoom, the map retains the same high quality throughout. Together with the user-friendly interface and clear menus, MioMap v3 guides you to your destination quickly and with a minimum of fuss
MioMap v3 conveniently displays the locations of all known speed cameras, as well as the likely sites of mobile ones. You can have both visual and audio warnings alerting you when a speed cam is in your vicinity.
It's very easy to add new locations to your device when new cameras are placed. You can even synchronise your device with the MioMap database to download the latest locations, added by other users.
MioMap v3 makes it fast and easy to locate a POI. If you know what you're looking for, just type in the name to get the exact location. And if you want to find something in a specific area, whether it's on the way to a destination or once you've arrived there, you can search local POIs grouped into logical, simple to navigate lists like restaurants, service stations and hotels.

A crystal-clear 3.5" touch screen, finger-sized buttons and new predictive keyboard make the C220 simple to use as well as easy to follow.

Safety camera (speed camera) warnings; free updates for 1 year
For your safety, the C220 tells you the likely locations of fixed speed cameras (speed cameras) and the likely locations of mobile traps, with free updates for a full year from the time you register.
Safety (speed) camera alerts are only available where legal. Using speed (safety) camera alerts is forbidden in Switzerland.
