bidding on a Minolta Maxxum "Beercan" 70-210mm f/4 lens. This is THE classic Minolta zoom lens, some of the greatest optical quality of any lens ever, in excellent condition!
TESTED to work perfectly on all SONY Alpha DSLR cameras, and all Minolta Maxxum film and digital cameras!
The front and rear glass are in excellent condition with no mold, fungus, or internal dust (that I can see). However, the front glass has two very small needlepoint-sized scratches. They have NO effect whatsoever on image quality, but they must be pointed out to be fair to my customers. There is only a small amount of external dust that is an inevitable fact of life for any lens taken out of the brand-new box. The body is in very good condition with only minor to moderate wear. There are only minor scratches and wear on the barrel, nothing that stands out at all. Other than that, there's nothing I can see. The zoom ring moves smoothly with no tension or grit, and the logos and printing aren't worn at all. There are no dents or dings at all that I see.
Everything functionally about this lens is in excellent order. It
auto-focuses and transmits electronic information perfectly. For
all
you digital shooters, this is the perfect lens for your Sony Alpha
camera, too! It fits perfectly on all Sony Alpha digital SLR cameras in
addition to all Minolta Maxxum SLR cameras, both film and digital. It
auto-focuses quickly and and is super-fast for low light shooting.
This lens comes with front and rear lens caps, as well as the Minolta lens hood.
The
pictures you see below picture the exact lens that you will receive,
and I have done my best to document its exact condition. Note: some of these
pictures were taken with a fish-eye lens, as I find it documents the
condition better than a normal lens; please ignore the deformed
proportions. If you have ANY questions, please ask before bidding! No
