Item Description

This is the main textbook used by most UK universities. It is written with Hiragana (Japanese) so you will need to be able to read Japanese to use it! Although it does have two kana tables at the front so you can quickly learn this is order to use the rest of the book! This version of the text book assumes you are going through the book with a teacher and not on your own. If you are going through on your own, you could buy the Romaji (English) version. I used this books in my first year of university, but I know of people who used it on their own along with other Japanese learning books!

Highly recommended for someone serious about starting to learn the Japanese language!

As stated, I did use this book in my first year of uni, but it is still in great condition. It is sightly scuffed in one corner though I will try erase any minor writing I did before it gets to you! So grab yourself a bargain! the book is £17 when bought at most bookshops! and £13 second hand on amazon! (at time of selling)
