For sale is a very unusual miniature pot that is 5.3cms tall, 3.7cms across, impressed 1738 underneath, and was made to hold James Keiller & Son`s Prize Medal Dundee Marmalade. The pot which was recently dug up on an old Edwardian rubbish tip, is in good condition, no chips or restoration, although it does have very light glaze crack staining, which should soak out easily enough. It also has what is either a very light hairline crack at the back, which doesn`t run down the outside of the pot, or it may indeed be just a another glaze crack, I have included a picture of this.
