Here is an exceptionally small walnut-cased mantel clock. It has an excellent quality English made Garrard pendulum movement with solid pinnions and adjustable pallets, serial number: "24599" . The quality movement has a nicely damascened backplate. The case is in honey-coloured natural walnut. The clock movement is in full working order with a strong steady tick and keeping accurate time. Front winding, with key.

The silvered chapter ring has arabic numerals.

Melodious strike on the half hour and striking fully on the hour with silver cathedral gong. In excellent working condition.

A high quality English case and heavy quality English clock movement. Made to fit modern narrow mantelpiece (Only 4.5" inches (11.5 cm) deep).

The case is in beautifully shaped walnut wood with a shallow arch case top and obliquely chamfered sides in the Art Deco manner. The cast chrome bezal, which is of superior quality without tarnishing or wear, opens to allow winding with a key. A silvered chapter ring shows the hours and the hands are silver in the spade style. The clock movement is in full working order with a strong steady tick and keeping accurate time. Front winding, with key.

The clock is only 9" inches (23 cm) wide at the base, 8" inches (20 cm) tall, and a mere 4.5" inches (11.5 cm) in depth. The chrome bezal is 6.25" inches (16 cm). It has a melodious strike on the half hour and striking on the hour, on a softly resonant silver spiral gong. In excellent working condition.
