Please read all of the below before bidding…
Payment: Payment to be paid please WITHIN 3 DAYS of the Auction finishing unless agreed otherwise with me the seller. If there is no contact or payment within this timescale Ebay will be notified and negative feedback left. However, i am very accomodating, so if you anticipate there being a problem with your payment being made within this timescale then just let me know. Paypal, Personal Cheques and Postal Orders only please. ( Sorry no E Cheque’s, as these can take up to two weeks to clear ). If you are unsure please email me and we can discuss options of payment.
Promise: I try to provide good photographs of everything that I sell and try to describe items as accurately as possible (including any damage or wear and tear). I am not a dealer, I trade on Ebay purely for fun, and all of the items I list, are my own families possessions or items i have purchased through Ebay. I welcome any questions and would prefer you to 'ask before you bid’ if you are unsure on anything, as once you bid you do enter into a legally binding contract within the ebay regulations.
Refunds: If the item is faulty, which is highly unlikely or for any reason does not match the description I am happy to refund you the selling price of the item only (not the postage, listing and re-listing cost). You must contact me within 2 days of receiving. When selling clothing items i do not give refunds for items that do not fit so please check the sizes and item description before bidding. If you are in anyway unhappy with anything you purchase, please contact me immediately. I buy as well as sell on eBay and do not like to disappoint any more than I like to be disappointed.
Postage and Packing: I do not allow pick ups from my address or wish to meet to exchange goods for cash so please don’t ask or presume this. All items are posted at my local Royal Mail post office. I try to keep all postage and packing prices to a reasonable level. I do, however, buy Jiffy Bags, Labels, Fragile Tape, PackingTape, Bubble Wrap, and try to pack all my items well. Therefore, some of the charge goes towards these items, not just postage alone (and packing some Items does take time). I normally post items once payment is made and always within 24 hours of payment being completed(except Saturday). On very rare occasions this is not possible, and I will inform you if there is going to be any significant delay. All items are sent 1st class delivery unless listed otherwise … therefore if you require insured –recorded delivery please choose it from the postal menu shown below if available or alternatively from the invoice at end of auction or if neither is shown please contact me before any payment by you is made.
Missing Parcels: Once your item is posted by me it is the Royal Mails job to deliver it to you, and sometimes they fail to do this…. therefore should your item not be received, with the new UK postal charges all items are covered by some Royal Mail compensation. Therefore for any claims of non receipt of item/s - proof of postage will be forwarded to you the buyer after 14 days of date of posting... and then you will have to make the claim for compensation yourself. Therefore for peace of mind, you have the option to choose recorded delivery…!
Feedback: I will always leave feedback for you once the transaction is complete, that is when I know that the item has been safely received. Feedback is such an important part of the whole eBay experience and is of the utmost importance to both Buyers and Sellers as it helps to have a little insight about the people we are looking to deal with. Someone who makes a speedy payment is not necessarily going to be a perfect buyer and their responsibility as a Buyer does not necessarily end when they make their payment to a Seller, just as my responsibility does not end when I post an item. Some may dispatch items quickly but offer a bad after service and I believe that potential Buyers would like to know about that. I believe it is important to leave feedback that is appropriate to each transaction, from point of sale through to the receipt of each item, just as it is important for my Buyers to judge me on not only the items I sell, the speed of delivery etc., but also how I communicate with a buyer and how I deal with any problems should they arise. If you feel at anytime you are about to leave negative or neutral feedback PLEASE contact me first, if there is a problem of my causing it will be resolved with great speed and endeavour.
