Midland Railway 6 Wheeled Luggage Composite Coach

This coach is very neatly built and finished in Midland Railway crimson livery with black and gold lining, a grey, fully detailed roof and a black underframe. Lettering and crests come from the HMRS transfer sheet. It is fitted with MayGib wheels to 16.5mm gauge but would easily convert to EM/P4 as the brake shoes are set for the gauges.
For those who don't already know, Slaters coach kits are a mixture of fine quality injection moulded, etched brass and lost wax brass parts. The 6-wheeled inside bearing underframe is of the Cleminson type to help steer the coach round tighter than scale curves.
I have described the model as used although it has spent most of its life in its box as I moved up to 7mm scale over 10 years ago and have little use for it now. I'm sure someone has a layout which could give it some worthwhile revenue earning service.
