W Watson’s & Sons, London, “KIMA” Microscope dated 16 April 1928 and complete with its original case. The box is complete with an additional lens, 3 interchangeable condenser slides and the Watson Certificate on the inner door.

The Microscope is in excellent condition. The original case has wear commensurate with its age where the handle has become unravelled on one attachment. Both items have wear commensurate with their age and are sold as is.

PAYMENTS:

The Purchaser is to please make full payment on the day of the winning bid and or purchase. Payment can be made via PayPal and any variations of this payment procedure must be pre-agreed by the Seller in writing within the 24-hour time limit prior to the completion of the auction.

UK MAINLAND POSTAGE:

The item will be sent out within two working days after the Purchaser’s payment has been cleared from PayPal into the bank. This can take up to 4- days.

All items are shipped either via PRIORITY MAIL, PARCEL POST, SECOND CLASS OR SIGN FOR MAIL or COURIER.

The Seller ships to the UK mainland (excluding the Channel Islands). Please contact me to enquire about worldwide shipping – please read international bidders section.

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS (Outside UK Mainland) - TERMS:

Please note that International Shipping costs will not be waivered and are not negotiable, so please ensure that you get a Shipping Estimate for the item from the Seller prior to bidding.

i.                     It is the responsibility of the Bidder/ Purchaser to contact the Seller to confirm shipping costs to areas outside of the UK mainland (the UK mainland does not include the Channel Islands) within 24-hours from the end of the auction.

ii.                    The Bidder/ Purchaser are to have received the estimated shipping costs from the Seller prior to bidding for any item/s listed by the Seller.

iii.                  The seller cannot guarantee that shipping estimates will be submitted to the Bidder/ Purchaser if the request is made in less than the 24-hour time limit, prior to the end of the auction.

iv.                   Failure by the Bidder/ Purchaser to request an international shipping cost and or receive an international shipping cost from the Seller will not absolve the Bidder/ Purchaser from any liability following the Bidder/ Purchasers successful bid/ purchase of the item and the related international shipping costs.

v.                    All International Shipping Costs are based on the Bidder/ Purchaser’s bespoke destination requirements (so please be specific) and the shipping estimate generally includes: Royal Mail Global Priority Service, Insured, Tracked, Packaging & Delivery from 4-days.

vi.                   Once the Seller has sent the estimate to the Bidder/ Purchaser by utilising the E-bay system or email, it will be deemed that Purchaser has received the estimate.

vii.                 Thereafter if the Bidder/ Purchaser should bid on the item, it will naturally follow that Bidder/ Purchaser has accepted this additional shipping cost and this estimated cost will form a binding agreement and will be added to the Bidder/ Purchaser’s final bill if the Bidder should win and or purchase the item.

viii.                    If the Bidder/ Purchaser does not have a price for International shipping at the time of bidding and or winning the item, the Bidder/ Purchaser will become automatically liable for the item purchase price and all associated costs for International Shipping still to be submitted by the Seller at the time of successful bid and or purchase; and the Seller will not enter into any cost negotiations with the Bidder/ Purchaser for shipping costs at this late stage. 

ix.                   Please note that International Shipping costs will NOT be waivered and are not negotiable.

x.                    DO NOT BID if you have not requested a price within the 24-hour time period prior to the end of the

auction as you will become liable for all associated International shipping costs on top of the final       purchase price and or winning bid if your bid should be the highest final bid .

GENERAL NEED TO KNOW:

i.                     This Agreement of Bid and or Sale shall be governed by and construed according to the law of the United Kingdom.

ii.                    The Seller reserves all legal rights to retrieve all the funds from the bidder either via eBay procedures or via the jurisdiction of the court of the United Kingdom.   

iii.                  No relaxation allowed by the seller at any time regarding the carrying out of the Bidder / Purchaser obligations in terms of this sale agreement, shall be deemed to be a waiver or in any way prejudice the Seller rights in terms hereof.

iv.                   By biding on the Seller's item, the Bidder/ Purchaser agree to all the terms and conditions stated within this listing and that these terms shall constitute the agreement between the parties and no variation of this agreement shall be valid unless reduced to writing and confirmed or signed by both parties.

v.                    The Seller reserves the right to cancel the auction and or withdraw the item at any time.
