Considered to be one of the finest singer song writers to emerge from the UK in the late sixties, Michael Chapman first came to prominence with the release of his debut album for the legendary Harvest Record label in 1969.  The album entitled Rainmaker was quickly followed up in 1970 by the album Full Qualified Survivor.  The second album still stands for many as the high point in a career that has had more than its fair share of high points and the album is subsequently still highly regarded.

Chapman recorded many albums throughout the seventies and eighties and was a regular attraction on the live circuit and indeed continues to this day to be a well loved artist in both a recording and performing capacity.
