The Sculpture Room was established in 2007 by Artist Sharon Dawkins, she was predominately self taught with the help of her father's influence as an Artist and developed a passion for art and design, sadly Sharon's father passed away but she continued painting alongside running a small welding business in Coventry for the past 11 years with her partner Philip, Sharon found herself in a playground of materials and started experimenting with different techniques resulting in the wall sculptures available today.

Philip's skill of fabrication and experience of welding of Stainless Steel and Titanium has enabled the collection to grow further. Sharon has tried to develop her own style and like's to breakground with what she paint's.

The Sculpture Room name is just how it began "in a small room" It has now become a reputable thriving business and continues to produce this beautiful unique artwork.Sharon sells internationally and her work can be seen in many commercial businesses in the UK.

The Artist

I am enjoying this journey and working with metal it's versitile and so different to canvas, I find I am always discovering new methods, recently I have been working with Titanium which when an electric current is applied gives an array of beautiful colours and I will be incorperating this into the 2010 Collection.
