Metacol liquid colour control unit with instruction sheets.

This unit is a standard Metacol unit EP/4 for both injection moulding and extrusion.

Liquid colour is ideal for fast cycling thin wall where good even colour mixing is requred. It also allows by this method, better mixing to reduce the colour percentage added, from typical 1% down to levels of 0.6 or 0.7%. This can make huge savings on bulk items, especially on expensive colours, whilst maintaining quality and appearance of product.

Standard silicone tube(not included) is fed through pump and the unit then pumps liquid which is usually fed into neck of machine. This also allows the colouring of only the material used as virgin in hopper remains natural.

Unit comes with mains lead and signal lead. The signal is a simple loop signal taken from machine screwback signal, if not fitted to machine we produced it from a simple relay operated from the screwback sequence.
