Here we have one BRAND NEW, unopened, boxed matched pair of Mesa Boogie 6L6 GC power tubes / valves. They are the STR440 variety. This is the exact same valves as you get in your favourite Mesa Boogie / Mesa Engineering guitar amp like the Mesa Dual Rectifier, Rectoverb etc etc. They are a matched pair so you don't need to worry about BIAS or technical stuff like that. Just remove the old ones and replace with these !

Our State of the Art Tube Tester
With the brains of a computer and the ears of a musician, Robotube runs a battery of seven exacting tests on each power tube and analyzes performance so thoroughly it can even predict the tube's lifetime. Designed by Mesa Engineering and built for us by an aerospace firm, Robotube is a one-of-a-kind machine and easily the most modern and powerful in the industry.

Lifespan of tubes (valves):

Power Tubes will generally last 1 - 1.5 years.
Preamp Tubes will generally last 2 - 3 years.

Signs of Wear

Power Tubes:
•  Low end response is not as clear and distorts earlier.
•  You turn your amp’s master volume up to hear the level that
   you are used to hearing.
•  Eventually you will hear 'crackling' 'popping' sounds, often accompanied by:
•  'Swelling' volume levels.
•  Buzzing.

Preamp Tubes:
•  Hissing, 'shooshing'.
•  Sputtering, 'grumbling'.
•  Microphonic squealing (feedback type sound).
•  Loss in signal in one or more modes of the amp (channel, reverb, fx-loop).

WARRANTY: IMPORTANT NOTE -
This can be pretty techy stuff and we do not recommend changing your valves yourself if you are new or inexperienced. You are advised to take your amp to a recognised Mesa Boogie main dealer (like us) or experienced amp technician for advice. These tubes are "consummable" items and therefore have only a 30 day warranty. In the event of a warranty claim please return the valves to us with your original receipt and we will return the valves to Mesa Boogie for testing before replacements are despatched. Some valve failure is caused by faulty amplifier circuits therefore not covered under the warranty. (It's a bit like having bad wheel alignment and complaining that your brand new tyre has worn unevenly around the edge)

However we are an official Mesa / Boogie main dealer so buy in complete confidence that these are 100% official, original and new Mesa / Boogie valves.

Why is this an "Immediate Payment Required" sale ? We use this feature to prevent other shops / time wasters / newbies making false or accidental purchases from us. Please respect our 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK rating and understand that by bidding / buying you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1) COURIER DELIVERY:
i) Orders received before 1:00pm Monday to Friday are usually despatched same day for a next WORKING day delivery (please make allowances for Bank Holidays, Saturdays etc)
ii) We are not responsible for courier delays and cannot enter into discussions regarding compensation for late deliveries.
iii) We use FedEx. If you are not in you will be "carded". Re-delivery will be the following working day UNLESS you contact them. If you are carded twice the goods remain at your local FedEx depot for collection for FIVE DAYS only. After this period the goods are returned to us. Unfortunately then you will be liable for a DOUBLE delivery charge IN ADDITION to what you have already paid.
iv) International delivery will usually be via DHL. The goods MUST be signed and we can ONLY deliver to the credit card holders CONFIRMED address.
2) POSTAL SERVICE DELIVERY - we are not responsible for postal delays. 99% of the time they get it right however, they do allow themselves 15 days before they declare an item missing even if it's 1st class recorded. IMPORTANT if you do NOT receive your item with 3 working days PLEASE CONTACT US. The Post Office have a habit of simply returning items they can't deliver and when they do there is a charge for re-delivery. It's best to catch them BEFORE they return the item so in other words simply CONTACT US if it hasn't arrived when we said it would in our Dispatch Confirmation email.
3) PAYMENT must be received within 3 days.
4) WARRANTY: New goods are sold with manufacturers ONE YEAR warranty, unless stated otherwise.
5) USED GOODS are sold "AS IS", with no warranty offered or implied, condition as stated.
6) DAMAGES. 'Damaged in transit' goods - to be reported within 24 hours of delivery. No damage claims or returns will be accepted after 24 hours. Goods will be collected by our courier, returned here for inspection then a replacement item shipped ASAP but allow 28 days.
7) FAULTY GOODS
i) in the event of your item developing a fault please return the goods to us as soon as possible. Please ensure the item is well packed and contact us in advance for returns authorisation. You are advised to use an insured courier for safety and traceability. Goods sent without authorisation will be refused and NOT signed for. Once the goods arrive we will repair or replace at our discretion as soon as possible.
ii) Faulty goods, additional note: Guitars with interpretational / subjective issues like action, tone, grain of wood, colour etc are not faults as such and therefore excluded from our Faulty Goods policy and will not be exchanged, fixed or replaced. (We could spend all day discussing the merits of high / low action. For example too low action = great for light pickers and fast players but maybe no good for other styles. Too high action = great for loud strumming but no good for shredding etc). You still of course have the right to return your item under our Business Return Policy or if the guitar develops a fault that is specifically covered by the manufacturers warranty (see manufacturer for details)
iii) used items - NO RETURNS available on used items unless specified otherwise in the Item Description.

Return policy

This is a consummable item and we are only able to accept returns of A1 as new items that have not been opened or used. Refunds will be minus postage costs and ONLY if the tubes are returned in as new working condition.
