Mercedes VDO Engine ECU Remanufacture:
We are rebuilding customers own units for £420 with a 2 year warranty, these VDO ECU's cost over £1300.00 from Mercedes and you only get a 6 month warranty from them so this really is a very good bargain.
Common failures:
Engine misfire on two cylinders
Blown ignition coil/s
Please Note:
The common fault with the VDO ECU originates from the ignition coil packs, these coils must be replaced before the remanufactured ECU is fitted to the vehicle. Otherwise the faulty igntion coils can blow the ECU again.
Turn around:
We will aim to turn your ECU around within 3 days of recieving it for testing, if your ECU is tested and found not to be faulty then we will just charge a small test fee of £45 and return it.
