In superb condition. The car now looks absolutely stunning, which is further enhanced by the newly refurbished wheels. Obviously this is not a new car, so there's the odd mark, car park ding and stone chip here and there, but overall, it's a stunner. The Azurite Blue Pearl blue paintwork, one of Mercedes' best colours in my opinion, shines like a new pin. It's widely known that some of the W210 E-Classes suffered with poor body work due to Mercedes starting to use water based paints in the late 90's, but this isn't one of those cars.

Needless to say, the car is also HPI clear, and has never been involved in any accidents.

Interior

The interior is in immaculately clean just having been recently valeted. It's clearly obvious from the condition of the interior that all this car has done is cruise up and down the motorway (which is what these are made to do). All controls also work as they should. This is a very comfortable and cosseting car indeed, which combined with it's fantastic performance and economy make it  one of the best distance cars available. Only point to mention is a small amout of wear to the drivers seat outer bolster.

Luggage Compartment

Dry and very clean.  Tools, jack and spare are present and correct.  The boot is simply enormous, with a very handy low sill too for ease of loading. Swallows up five peoples' luggage for a fortnight's holiday  with ease, and several sets of Golf Clubs just disappear in there!

Engine

If you don't know about the legendary Mercedes-Benz Diesel engines, do your homework first. The life of these engines is probably best measured in aviation terms; It's not at all uncommon to see these having covered 500K miles plus. They just go on and on, and on. The OM606 6-cylinder, multi-valve Turbo Diesel unit, as fitted to the W210 E300TD follows in that stoic Mercedes tradition, and the 143K motorway miles this car has covered is frankly insignificant to what it's actually capable of. It's no coincidence that  Mercedes Diesel cars are the tool of choice for many of the world's taxi drivers,a choice that reflects their sheer durability and reliability of these cars. It's certainly not uncommon to find diesel engined Mercedes Taxis that have covered a million miles.

It wouldn't be at all unreasonable to expect at least another 500K Miles (or more). The engine in this car is perfect, no leaks, no undue smoke either on start up, running or on boost. It starts on the first turn of the key whether warm or cold. If you think a Golf GT TDI is fast, think again, the E300TD pushes out 177BHP and a whacking 330NM of torque making this a very, very fast car indeed. That kind of performance effortlessly, but impressively propels this car to very ill
