Mercedes Bosch & Siemens PMS type engine ECU rebuild.

We are now rebuilding customers own units (as they are coded to the vehicle) with a 2 year warranty, these units can be rebuilt in around 6 working days as they are intensley complicated to rebuild. These units sell for well over £1200 from Mercedes so you really are getting a good bargain here.

Due to the fact that these ECU's are coded to your car we cannot supply a replacement ECU as it would not run your engine, for this reason a second hand ECU will not work iether.

Common faults include:
Misfire on two cylinders

The fault is caused by the ignition coils spiking the ECU or a common fault with the wiring loom to the coils, the coils should be replaced with new ones and the wiring checked/replaced before the remanufactured ECU is fitted to the vehicle, otherwise this could blow the ECU again.

Rebuild times:
Due to the nature of these ECU's being sealed potted units they are very difficult and time consuming to rebuild. We will try to have your ECU back to you within 3 or 4 days, but it can take around 6 to 7 working days to complete so please be aware of this before you send your unit in.
