During the development of the new ECO PowerXtra modules the BRABUS engine specialists focus strongly on increasing torque at low engine speeds. During everyday driving the BRABUS-tuned common-rail turbodiesel engines always demonstrated much better pulling power from low rpm. During normal driving, the vehicle can usually be operated one or two gears higher than the production car. The need for downshifting during acceleration is also reduced.

The results are not just excellent performance but thanks to the slower engine speeds better fuel economy and reduced emissions.
