pictorial card covers. It contains 52 printed pages that are shared between
text and 8 colour as well as 88 black and white photographs. Conceived by
the LMS to meet the needs of deliveries in towns, the Mechanical Horse was
an innovative design. This volume follows its development and the many
adaptable load carriers produced by Scammell, Karrier Motors, BedfordThis
title is to be found in landscape glossy pictorial card covers. It contains
52 printed pages that are shared between text and 7 colour as well as over
100 black and white photographs. Illustrated history of British fire
appliances from nationalisation in the late 1940s, vehicles needed to meet
the new services of the period and progress through to the 1960s and
Government reorganisation in 1974.Contained in glossy pictorial card covers
are 52 printed pages. Containing 75 all colour photographs. Featuring
Eastern Counties classic buses in operation in East Anglia in the 1960s
through to the 1980s. Detailed captions provide a wealth of information, and
many images are published for the first time, making this an essential
addition to bus enthusiasts book collections.
