I played with this box of assorted Meccano in the 1970s, and it had belonged to my father as child, so I'm guessing it originated from the 1940s.  The leaflet, entitled Meccano Set No 1 does not necessarily represent the set being sold here, which is probably a hybrid assortment!

If there is any particular component you wish to ask about, please contact me.  Otherwise, sold as pictured - VERY used!

Box weighs 4.6kg, so carriage priced using Royal Mail Standard Parcels service.
