Original steel clockwork key for Hornby pre war locos. Condition is good with very minor surface rust. (Embossed Meccano, Made in England H). Length of this key is approximately 58 mm. I am selling several keys on eBay at this time so please check my other listings.

Reserves

I do not list items with reserves. The price at which I list is the price at which it will sell if there are no other bids.

Postage Charges

Postage and shipping charges are at cost plus packing materials. Postage inside the UK will be by ordinary post, recorded or special delivery depending on final value. International postage will be by airmail unless stated otherwise. Because of previous delivery delays I do not send by surface mail unless the circumstances are exceptional.

Postage charges will be adjusted for multiple purchases but please see my note about payment.

Payment

Prompt payment is requested. If you want to bid on any of my later listed items please pay as you go. I will adjust any final invoice to take into account postage discounts for multiple purchases. I just ask that you keep me informed.

If it is not possible to pay via PayPal by debit or credit card immediately then please send a cheque or postal/money order direct to me, I am happy to accept these.

Successful bidders in the USA can pay by Paypal in US$ if you wish or send a US$ check or money order to a Florida address. Please email me for details.

Buy it Now

If I have not listed “Buy it Now” as an option then please do not email me asking me if I will sell immediately. This is against eBay rules and we could both be penalised.

Shipment

I normally ship items within 2-3 days of the auction end, however occasionally I may only be able to get to the post office once a week because of my daytime work commitments.

Feedback

I will always give feedback but I like to know that the buyer is happy with the transaction. When you receive the goods let me know that everything is satisfactory via the eBay messaging system quoting the item No. We can then give each other mutual positive feedback.

Ebay Returns Policy Mistakes do sometimes happen and very occasionally an item may be listed on Ebay with a defect that was not noticed. In these circumstances we will cheerfully do a full refund of the purchase price. If the item was listed as working and has an unknown mechanical fault and can be repaired at our cost economically we will do so. If an item has been damaged in transit we will make a claim from the postal authorities or shippers and pass on any compensation received. Please note it is the buyers responsibility to request and pay for additional insurance if required. Over the last few years we have unfortunately had a number of items returned for refund that were wholly or partly not the item we originally despatched. Consequently most items are marked before despatch. This particularly applies to those items with clockwork or electric or other mechanisms and moving parts.
