The DVD with this hood is 54 minutes long and has been produced in-house by us here at Dandycars.
Chapters:
1. Intro and Preparation
2. Removing the old hood from the car
3. Stripping the old hood from the frame
4. Fitting the new hood to the frame
5. Replacing the new hood onto the car

If you are fairly mechanically minded (or quite 'handy') then you should be able to fit a hood in half a day (with some swearing involved). Ignore other seller's claims that they can be fitted in 2 hours, for a first-time fit it would probably take 3.5 hours at the very quickest (including cups of tea!). No tools are supplied with this DVD. Basic tools are required: Phillips screwdriver, 10mm and 12mm socket, a drill is useful and a smattering of common sense (if we could sell common sense on eBay we'd make a mint!). Rivets should be supplied with the hood (THEY ARE WITH OURS!!) and should be used for installation (they are not absolutely essential but we strongly recommend using them). No rivet gun is supplied but any DIY place or tool store should stock them. Any and all MX5 hoods require rivets to be installed absolutely correctly so please don't be fooled by sellers who claim theirs does not require rivets - IT SHOULD DO!!!
