If you are looking for a truly special Fat Boy FLSTF, this is the one!
This is one of the last of the great Evolution Fat Boys, made in 1999. It has covered only 7000 miles from new and been regularly serviced as you would expect. Now the exciting bit....no expense has been spared on making this bike special. Chrome everything....swinging arm, upper and lower forks, wheels, switch gear, passing lamps and headlamp nacelles, footboards, handgrips........and so on and on (you get the picture!).
I have just bought a holiday home and sadly the great beast has to go, to fund it! I will try to list all it's assets, but excuse me if I forget something!
The tank and fenders were custom-painted in the states, by Demented Illusionz and can be seen on their web site at 'dementedillusionz.com' on page 4 of the pictures gallery. They are spanish gold colour, with black 'rips'. Under the paintwork there are shadowy skulls and faces which can be seen when the sun catches them. One skull is smoking a stick of TNT!
The disk wheels were skimmed smooth and chromed in the states. The swinging arm was also chromed in the states. The upper and lower forks are fat and chromed.
Passing lamps have been added and chrome nacelles were put on the headlamp, passing lamps and indicators (which were given clear lenses).
It has a great twin exhaust system with slash cut ends. Loud, but not quite enough to attract attention from Her Majesty's Constabulary.
The removable screen and back rest are original Harley parts (see last picture) and can be put on in a couple of minutes. Ideal for fast or long-distance riding. The back rest incorprates a chrome luggage rack which is also removable. The pillion seat is removable for a lower look.
This bike has a personalised number plate of just 5 digits. It contains the word 'FAT'.
The handlebars are 1.25 inches thick and are wide and long-reach. The hand grips are chrome striped. All the switchgear has been chromed, as have the levers. Replacement Harley mirrors were also added. The cables were all replaced with mesh cables.
A striped chrome tank panel, striped chrome foot rests, striped pillion foot pegs and striped chome air filter cover have been added (there's a theme here, not just a random collection of accessories that don't match!).
A chrome foot brake and chrome covers for the gear and brake mechanism were added, with a chrome regulator cover. Chrome wheel bolt covers were added front and back and the disk break is also covered (with chrome!).
To protect the bike, a chrome crash bar is fitted. A Harley lock is included. A chrome helmet lock is also fitted.
All in all, this is a very special bike. It has an agreed insurance valuation of £16,500 (agreed between Warrs Harley dealership and the insurance company). I have receipts for £7203.48 that I have spent on it. The reserve price is well below valuation as I have to sell this bike in 2 weeks. Pleased be prepared to collect and pay promptly. You can view the bike near Croydon, but only if you are a serious bidder please! Please contact me before bidding if you have fewer than 10 feedbacks or your bid may be removed.
Paypal, cash or cleared cheque are all acceptable. Collection only unless you want a huge postal bill!
Good luck. You'll love her, I'll miss her.
