The JMT is tiny, at just over 2 inches width, 1.5 inch high and 1cm deep.  It works from CR2032 3v battery power and comes with full instructions.  The unit has built in speaker which emitted a volume adjustable warm bleep sound for metronome.  For tuning up on stage, the JMT incorporates a bright blue backlight.

Quickstart Instructions:

1) Holding the M/T button for a few seconds flicks between Tuner and Metronome mode.
2) When in tuner mode, the Hz needs to be on 440.  This is "standard pitch", some orchestras tune differently, so this is why the JMT allows you to change the value.  Just use the up and down arrows to bring it to 440.
3) The M/T button pressed quickly, cycles between tuning of different instruments.  You will see the letters C, g, b and v change as you press it.  For guitar, choose g.  But "c" also works just as well.  C is for "chromatic".
4) Finally, make sure there are no sharps of flats showing.  Use the Sel. key to clear any showing on the bottom right of the screen.
