The Twins at Thorncliff, by Marjorie C Barnard. Published by Nelson, not dated. Colour frontispiece and charming black & white illustrations by Margaret Forbes. Phil and Mary have previously attended a boys’ prep school before being sent to Thorncliff Hall. The episodic type of school story, without much plot, but enjoyable.
