These receivers are NMEA and not Sea Talk. Some Raymarine devices are Sea Talk only and some are both. Check your owner’s manual before buying.

RECEIVER NMEA OUTPUT + (GREEN) to the NMEA INPUT+ Positive on your radio

RECEIVER NMEA OUTPUT – (BROWN) to the NMEA INPUT – Negative on your radio.GPS wires on radios

 are usually marked with positive + and negative - labels.

RECEIVER 12 Volt (RED) to the 12 volt + that also feeds the radio (this is usually RED).

 Check the handbook to be sure.

RECEIVER GROUND (BLACK AND GREY) to the EARTH – that's also connected to the radio (usually BLACK).

Just 5 wires are used from the receiver (the 2 earths are connected together). BLUE AND WHITE are not used.

Separate these and insulate from everything.

Note; place 1 amp fuse in-line to protect. The rest of the wires should be insulated from each other with some tape

 and folded back, and taped again. 

You will not be able to buy a Marine standard GPS receiver of this quality

anywhere for a better price than this. I guarantee it!

This receiver, the SA 320, is of a higher standard and quality than the

 Raymarine 125 which costs £250 or thereabouts.

Connect this to your radio and when you send an SOS it will automatically

 send your position to the Coastguard.

Drop it and it will not break, totally waterproof, nothing affects it,

 and I mean NOTHING, Radar, VHF, not even the Earth's

 magnetic field, Nothing.

You sail to Spain and you will still be within 3 metres! Sail around

 the globe and it will still be accurate to 3 metres.
