An original hand painted picture of the Emperor Penguins on the promo poster for the enchanting film March of the Penguins. It  is lovingly rendered in acrylics . 

It is on a high quality Loxley chunky (1.5 inches thick)gallery style canvas measuring 30 x 20  inches   and can be hung as it is or framed to suit your decor. It is painted around the sides too so that a frame is not needed.

 No black paint was used, instead  layers of ultramarine and burnt umber were applied over time to give a vibrant dark tone. Look at the baby penguin in close up and you can see all the colours in the 'black'

It is triple varnished with quality non-yellowing matt artists varnish.

You will find other canvas art for sale that are actually photographs that have been digitally manipulated to look like original paintings, hence the ''seller'' can start with a very low auction price. All my works are painstakingly hand painted and so I have to start at a reasonable opening price.

Lastly, with MY paintings 'what you see is what you get', I take a set of photos for each individual painting (because they all have unique qualities). Take a look at some other pop artists and it is apparent that they paint to order; meaning that they only start painting after the auction ( what you get, may not nessesarily be exactly what you saw)
