The G-50 dives to depths of up to 55 feet on 100lb test line 150 feet behind the boat

and up to 75 feet deep if you use braided line (80 lb test which is about the same dia. as 30 lb mono) The G-50 also uses a patented accu trac mechanism in the lip to keep the lure tracking true at speeds up to 15 mph. Attached to this accu trac feature is 6 feet of 600 lb test steel cable. The Mustad 12/0 double hooks can be removed and 16/0 singles can be attached to the accu trac stamping to create a true "MONSTER RIG".

The largest fish taken on a G-50 was a marlin off the Australian coast over 1000lbs.
