Now we've got those 'shocking revelations' (!) out of the way let me tell you about my new Sporting Life Gold System. This is a system for laying horses on Betfair - that's to say we want to identify horses likely to lose. Like me you may have seen many such systems before and be asking yourself what's new and different about this. Here's two things I'll share up front -

1) The system uses a series of Rules which anyone should be able to follow to pick winning bets. Personally I don't normally like such systems as they are often too rigid and worked out from past data. For example, 'Lay any Favourite running on a Tuesday by a Jockey whose name begins with a D or M.' Such a rule is totally ridiculous of course! Statistics going back a few months could prove some validity in it but that would be pure coincidence and would not make a sensible betting strategy!

2) The system uses data from The Sporting Life website. Freely available over the internet and giving you a very quick way to formulate genuine expert opinions, this DOES make for a sensible and profitable strategy! Most other systems use the Racing Post, as I do myself, and the Sporting Life is often overlooked but is an incredibly accurate resource for finding winning bets.

What else can I tell you? Well, I'm an ordinary guy working a 9 to 5 job. I don't drive a Porsche and I haven't bought a villa in Ibiza thanks to the incredible profits I make with this system! I do use this and several other Betfair systems to make what I consider to be a very nice tax free income and this guide will teach you to do the same.

I hope my simple honesty hasn't put you off so far!

- The maximum odds we lay at are 4.5 - Very sensible, low liability
- I use this system to level stakes, never chasing losses
- I now have a very healthy Betfair balance but you could easily start this with £50
