The MicFlex is a top-quality microphone coupled to a better than CD-quality USB audio conversion circuit (16-bit, 48KHz sampling), both housed neatly in a small aluminum pod at the end of a flexible steel tubing stand. The tube itself is softly satin polished, and is solidly mounted to the same field-proven extra heavy hemispherical silver base we use on our wildly popular SightFlex iSight web camera stand. The flexible tube with the microphone pod stands about 18-inches above the base, and, the tube portion is removable from that base... just pull out the USB-plug terminated tube, and you have a self-contained, portable USB microphone. The hemispherical base has an attached 5-foot long silver/clear braided USB cable. The MicFlex is plug and play compatible with all USB equipped Macs with OS 9.1, 9.2 or OS X 10.1 or higher. It is also plug and play compatible with USB equipped Windows 98Se, Win2000, or Win XP machines.
So, How Does It Work?
The same physical properties found in our popular SightFlex are present with our MicFlex, as well. MicFlex can be twisted, yanked, snatched, pulled, tugged, and otherwise deformed into pretty much any shape you can imagine to help you find just the right position. We'll just repeat the same description as for the SightFlex: "Use it beside a display, peeking over a display or Powerbook, peeking around a display or Powerbook, squished down in a coil, twisted in a knot, or even sneakily peeking out from under an Apple Cinema or Studio LCD display!" Pull the flex tube from the base, plug it into a Powerbook or iBook, and carry your top-notch USB microphone on the road!

System Requirements:
The MicFlex requires Mac OS 10.1.5 or later or Mac OS 9.2.2. Note that when used with Mac OS 9.2.2, the MicFlex will shut off sound out of your computer, but is still usable. For this reason, we do not recommend the MicFlex for those using Mac OS 9 and will not provide a refund if the user finds this to be unsatisfactory. This applies only to Mac OS 9, the MicFlex causes no sound out issues on machines running Mac OS X.

International Shipping
USPS first class international mail does not come with a tracking number, which means it can not be tracked.
So please do not ask us for your package's transit status.
We just do not have such information for first class mail delivery.
It comes with a delivery confirmation number which can be updated upon delivery, however sometimes the package gets delivered without being updated.
USPS First class mail delivery takes longer than other methods of delivery and does not have guaranteed delivery date. Do not expect the delivery takes within 7~10 business days. Usually, it will take 2~3 weeks. Sometimes even longer.
