A hardback copy of Glen Castle Mystery by Mabel Esther Allan, published by Warne, not dated but probably the 1948 first edition - the other titles mentioned on the rear of the dustjacket all seem to have been published in 1948 or before.

The front endpaper is missing and there is a little light foxing, otherwise the book is in very good condition with no inscriptions. The dustjacket has some loss to the ends of the spine, a couple of closed tears to the front cover, and a piece missing across the top of the rear cover. It is now in a new protective sleeve.

A nice copy of the author's first published work, written before WWII but published afterwards, and quite a hard title to find.
