MZ TS 125 Classic Bike
1984 model, the one with the handle bar mounted twin clocks.
This bike was stored in a friends garage for 18 years, he bought it brand new, but stored it after buying a car.
I aquired it as a rebuild project.
This bike has since had a total strip down, a new coat of paint, and rebuilt with:-
- new battery
- new ignition coil
- new gearbox oil
- new brake shoes front and rear
- many new nuts / bolts
- all lights fully sorted and working
- genuine 11900 miles
- original bill of sale
- V5 document in my name
- original service and instruction books
- workshop manual
- small box of spares
- slight paint chip on petrol tank newly aquired due to knock while in garage. :-(
I never got round to taking it for the MOT, but suspect at least needs new tyres, original ones look OK with plenty of tread, but the rubber
is cracked in places due to age etc.
I have driven it 'off the public highway' and starts easily and runs well, its pretty quick !
A reluctant sale, but space needed in garage. (Too many other projects)
