Snoop Doggy Dogg was the embodiment of 1990s gangsta rap. He was introduced to the world through Dr Dre’s The Chronic and quickly became the most famous star in rap, partly because of his drawled, laconic rhyming and also because the violence that his lyrics implied seemed real, especially after he was arrested on charges of being a murder accomplice.

Produced by Suge Knight and directed by Dr Dre, Snoop makes his acting debut in Murder Was The Case, a gripping uncensored mini-motion picture about life on the streets set to the soundtrack of his hit song Murder Was The Case. It will be released on DVD courtesy of Wienerworld on 3 April 2006.

The DVD features performances from the Soul Train Awards, American Music Awards, Saturday Night Live and rare behind-the-scenes footage.

Also featured are three other uncensored videos from Snoop. Gin & Juice, What\\\'s My Name? and Doggy Dogg World, as well as Natural Born Killer performed by Dr Dre and Ice Cube and bonus videos Midnight Love and Head Doctor.
